Norman Morrison was the original owner of the house. It was then passed to his son, Jack. Oliver Douglas came from England as a young boy. He looked after Mrs. Morrison (Jack's mother) and obtained this property from the Morrisons.

Architectural Comment

One and a half storey timber frame house. The house is vernacular with some neo-classical design. All doors remain upstairs. Some of the original stone chimney remains in the kitchen.

Norman Morrison left this house to his son, Jack. Oliver Douglas came into the property after caring for Mrs. Morrison in her old age.
