A tidal wave hit the house in 1941 that came up to the basement. Store and post office was located on property.

Architectural Comment
|
The house is built in a simple Victorian farmhouse design. There is still all original wood in the kitchen. Two rooms have hardwood floors. The kitchen added on about 80 years ago. Extensive renovations.

|
There is a wagon house on the property that was used to store farm equipment. It is in the original location.
