MacKay House - Kempt Head

1900

An interesting story that was retold by a local historian is that Dolly MacKay, who once owned the house can remember sneaking out of her father's home to go to the dances which were held in Boxer Jack Munro's house located over six kilometers up the road. She would sneak through the woods without a light and return before anyone would notice she was missing.
